2018 New Zealand Family Trip

Hello! Today I am talking about my trip to the reserve to look for Kiwis. Even though we didn't find any we did hear them in the woods running around. Just in case you are confused that it was most likely they were flying around  they actually can't fly. They may have wings but they are under it's feathers. So it started off by us going to an observation rock. Mum and I left early to go to the reserve to look for some places where we might find some Kiwis. After we did that we waited until dark because they are nocturnal and then we looked for some Kiwis. The first things we saw were some deer walking around. We walked over to a swing mum and I saw when we walked around earlier. I really liked swinging on it because it swung over a really spiky plant. After that we started looking in the bushes. We found a few deer but no Kiwis but we could still hear them running around.

Hello! Today I am talking about my trip to Ulva Island. It started one day before we went to Ulva Island it may sound weird but it does make sense in the end. So as I said it started in the morning when we were supposed to catch the nine O clock ferry but everyone slept in so we decided to take the twelve O clock ferry instead. At twelve O clock we opened the door but it was raining so we couldn't so we decided to do it the next day. On the ferry the next morning we heard someone who knew a lot about the birds that live there and he told us about a lot and a lot of things about them. He told us about a bird that I am very interested in called the Stewart Island Robin. Sadly it was one of the only ones he didn't know much about even though he encountered it in real life and I also think he went mad and took a lot of photo.

Hello! Today I'm talking about my walk which we were doing to find a safe path and everyone except for me thought it was a good path. I hated it a lot. It started with us walking to the Community Centre. Then we went to a dress shop and then the playground finally after what seemed like a million years of torture then after the playground we did a huge walk on the road half the way to find a "safe route" which took hours.(literally) We started off by walking on the road down to the forest.After that we came to a abandoned place (at least according to my dad)which was a little cool though I still hated it but I did reach my goal of one hour of being active.and we saw cool rat traps. Soon we took a break on dry ground which was hard to find and we started walking again and we finally we made it back to Inlet View.

Hello, today I am talking about my trip to Stewart Island and the actual place. I am staying in Inlet View. It is called Inlet View because it is a inlet which is obvious and it has a amazing view also obvious. We took a ferry to Stewart Island. I got to play on my dad's phone because he downloaded two games for me to play. I also threw up. Luckily we bought medicine so it wouldn't happen again on the way back. It is very nice here on Stewart Island because we have a great view and we have to walk everywhere we want to go.

I have been reading Bad Dad by David Walliam s. It  is about a kid who has a dad who is a famous banger racer. His dad never lets him watch because he doesn't want him to see him get hurt but he always watches from a pile up  of crashed cars. One day his dad's brakes broke and he crashed and lost a leg and got a wooden one instead. His dad was banned from racing because the owner said he could have done something and had no job. So he had to save up for presents on his son's birthday. On his eleventh birthday he got a toy car set. One day two people stole everything they had (including the toilet)so they were very very poor. Months later he got a top secret job...
